Ex9R Thermal Overload Relays

Ex9R thermal overload relays are primarily designed for motor protection. These relays can be directly combined with Ex9CS and Ex9C series contactors or used as standalone devices with the AD5 adapter. The relays are available in three frame sizes with non-derated rated currents from 0.16 to 100 A. The Ex9R12 frame size is designed to match Ex9CS miniature contactors. The Ex9R38 version can be mounted on Ex9C18 contactors and, with a spacer (included with the relay), also on Ex9C38 frame size. The largest frame size, Ex9R100, can be directly combined with Ex9C65 and Ex9C100 contactors. Ex9R relays are equipped with 1 NO and 1 NC auxiliary contacts.

The Ex9R185 frame size is designed to match Ex9C115–185 contactors. The Ex9R500 version can be mounted on 300 frame contactors (Ex9C225–300) and also on 500 frame contactors (Ex9C400–500). Ex9R relays are equipped as standard with 1 NO and 1 NC auxiliary contacts.
